Pastor Bisi is a well-loved Man of God. I have known him since we started courting almost 40 years ago. We went to pharmacy school together and graduated in 1989 from Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife. He has a passion for developing people. We would frequently go to a college in town to teach their students about the word of God. His passion for teaching is so strong, I wonder if he was born with it. I am reminded of a time we went together to an event where he was expected to share the word. One of my good friends was so impressed with the delivery. He is such a joy to listen to during Sunday service and other ministrations.
He is a teacher at heart. He is a pastor of pastors. Many of his mentees are now parents or business folks or individuals of timber and caliber. I am grateful to God for His anointing and hand over Pastor Bisi. He has ministered to and impacted countless lives and families and futures. Several of his proteges are now pastors. He is humble and kind just like a pastor should be. I have met many pastors, and Pastor Bisi still stands out from the best of them.
He is a husband, best friend, confidant and lover. He is very kind and thoughtful. He watches out for me and makes sure I have what I need to thrive. He is an entrepreneur and executes ideas that God gives to him many times sharing said ideas for others to benefit from and profit from. He is a global influencer, serving as a thought leader on a variety of subjects to dignitaries.
He cares for his household, watches over his household as a dad, makes sure we have what we need, prays with our sons and guides them in the way of the Lord. I know he did not have the luxury of growing up with a dad for too long since his dad died during his early days of college. I watch him with the young kings (AKA boys) and see him pour into them lovingly.
He is my pastor, prophet and priest over our home. He has been there for me through the highs, lows, rough and tumble. I thank God for the blessing of you. I thank you for your love, for providing a prayer cover, making declarations over our lives and encouraging us to keep pushing forward. May the Lord remember your sacrifice, offering and dedicated service to the Kingdom. My prayer is that the Lord will increase your wisdom, revelation and strength. My wife, Adenike, and I met Pastor Bisi over twenty-five years ago through our eldest daughter, Adedayo at JCCI. What began as a simple post service conversation quickly grew into a spiritually rich and personally rewarding relationship. Over the years, I have benefited immensely from his counsel, discernment, prayers, and steady friendship. Several insights he shared with me have unfolded with remarkable accuracy, leaving little doubt that he listens carefully to God.
Beyond ministry and intellect, Pastor Bisi is first and foremost a devoted husband and father. His love for his wife is evident, steady, and deeply rooted in mutual respect and partnership. He wears his commitment to her with quiet pride and unwavering consistency. His devotion to his two sons is equally admirable. He is present, intentional, and deeply invested in their growth, character, and future. He shows by example that it is possible to serve God passionately, lead effectively, and still be fully engaged at home.
